Its a different kettle of fish today. A low mist has descended and is making the landscape look all ethereal. I think the sun is trying to break through, so here’s hoping for the weekend! Hope you voted yesterday - it was a bit like the Krypton Factor no wonder so many ballots got wasted.
Here’s some moody shots of Braemar this morning….

This morning in the gallery I shall mainly be playing late 70’s TV Themes, Roger Eno, Brain Eno, Daniel Lanios, Harold Budd and other laid back tunes on the gallery sound system.
May the 4th be with you…
Andrew.

What a week in Braemar! The sun has been splitting the sky all week. Its really a great time to come and visit - the sun is out, the air is still nice and cool in the mornings, the midges are not here yet and you’ll get the place more or less to yourself. You’ll need Sun cream and front-line/spot-on if you’ve got a dog. I’ve taken some pictures to show you how nice the weather is - not a cloud in the sky.

This morning i shall mainly be playing Van Morrison, The Byrds, The Beach Boys and U2 on the gallery sound system. It feels like summer after all!
Andrew
Ps. Ros and Dave’s cakes look pretty good today to, don’t you think?

“I am very pleased to introduce this new show by Ed Hunter. Its one I have been looking forward to for some time now. Ed has been exhibiting with the Braemar Gallery for over 10 years and always produces the highest quality, dreamy, sun-filled landscapes. When I think of Ed’s paintings I always think of, “how a summers day should be” or perhaps “a summers day remembered”. Ed seems able to capture the tranquility and beauty of the landscape perfectly with his oil paints and canvas. I know you’ll enjoy this exclusive show.”
