Braemar Gallery

I’ve just taken some shots to show everyone how lovely it is up here just now.

Lovely stuff..

Summer is in full swing and the gallery (and framing) is very busy.

So I’m just taking 5 to write something of a bloggy nature. I’m looking forward to doing some new paintings of my own in the autumn. I’ve already laid out the studio and hope to do great things.

On other fronts: Pam Cater Show grows ever nearer and its looking really rather special.

Hi everybody,

As you may know by now, the Pam Carter Show will be opening on 23rd August. I’ve seen some of the works already and its looking VERY exciting. We are finishing the brochure at the moment and will be sending them out soon. I’ve been quite a fan of Pam’s paintings since i was a struggling art student in 1992! So its a real treat for me to be working with her after all this time.

In other news: things are looking great here in Braemar. The weather is slowly improving (although I have yet to go river-swimming this year: brrrrrrr!!). The Castle is now open to the public at weekends and “taste… “are still purveying wonderful cakes.
