“A HIGHLAND AND ISLAND GATHERING”
“Having been involved with Pam’s work for many years it had occurred to both myself and Pam, that we had never put on a show together and now the time seemed right to explore some new ground and different horizons. Whilst chatting informally last year, we got to discussing how good it would be to put on a show which would not only contain her signature, sweeping west coast beaches and remote highland crofts but also broke some new ground with fresh vistas and iconography. It was with these ideas very much in mind we hatched a plan to put on a show using Deeside (as yet unexplored by Pam) as new inspiration and source material alongside some more familiar views of the Highlands and Islands. The result is an exciting, highland blend of brand new imagery,fresh bold ideas and hidden ancient places conveyed in Pam’s own inimitable style.”
